On the Morning of July 13th, Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and Hong Kong Trade Development Council jointly hosted the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Malaysia Business Symposium in Kuala Lumpur, representatives of such organizations as Malaysian Investment Development Authority, Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of the PRC in Malaysia, Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, etc. successively made speeches, and Mr. Zheng Jianrong, Director-General of Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province delivered a keynote speech.
For this symposium, Guangdong and Hong Kong respectively organized a group of manufacturing enterprises in the fields of electronics, electrical appliances, machinery, lighting, biology, medicine, etc. as well as finance, tax, law, and other professional service institutions to form the Guangdong-Hong Kong Business Delegation with a total of more than 60 people, and carried out on-site docking negotiations with over 100 enterprises in Malaysia.
