“Guangdong-Japan Innovation Investment Communication Conference 2017”was jointly held by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and JETRO Guangzhou Office on September 26th. This is the third year in a row that the two sides have jointly organized investment communication activities, which have established a sound communication platform for Guangdong enterprises to carry out innovative cooperation with Japan.
Mr. Meng Lin, the Deputy Director General of Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, Mr. Amano Shinya, Director of JETRO Guangzhou Office, Mr. Ishizawa Yoshiji, the Commercial Counselor of Consulate General of Japan in Guangzhou, and Mr. Tomioka, the Director of Kyoto Government Shanghai Office attended the communication conference. It also attracts a number of famous enterprises in Guangdong, likely, CCCC Urban Investment Holding Company Limited, Country Garden and Guangzhou Heng Shen Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. and such related business associations as Guangdong General Chamber of Commerce, Guangdong Enterprises Investment Promotion, Guangdong Province Industrial Park Association, Guangdong Association of Circular Economy and Resources Comprehensive Utilization, GDZK, GSTA, Foshan Metal Materials Industrial Association, Guangzhou Geospatial Information and the Internet of Things Council for the Promotion, etc., as well as representatives of investment promotion departments from Guangzhou, Zhongshan, Zhanjaing, Maoming, Yunfu, etc., nearly 100 people took part in the event.
Mr. Meng attended the conference and gave a speech. He pointed out that, Guangdong and Japan have a good foundation of economic and trade cooperation, and the People's Government of Guangdong Province has worked closely with the JETRO; both sides maintain close relationship in trade and investment and carry out fruitful cooperation; Guangdong and Japan think highly of innovation development and pursue for cooperation opportunity in innovation area.
