Briefing on Commercial Development of Guangdong Province was Held in Guangzhou

  On the afternoon of December 18th, Briefing on Commercial Development of Guangdong Province was held in Guangzhou by Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, which shared the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, notified the commercial development of Guangdong Province in 2017 and related commercial work prospects in 2018, and promoted the Policies and Measures of People's Government of Guangdong Province on Further Expanding Opening-up and Actively Attracting Foreign Direct Investment (hereinafter referred to as The Ten Measures for Foreign Investment). Officials of nearly 50 foreign embassies and consulates and representatives of 17 foreign associations in Guangzhou, altogether over 120 people, took part in the meeting. Among them, Consul-General and Deputy Consul-General of New Zealand, Laos and other 15 countries, together with senior commercial representatives of 7 overseas business organizations, such as European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and German Chamber of Commerce, attended the briefing. 

  Deputy Director-General of Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, Mr. Chen Yuehua attended the Briefing and delivered a speech in English, the person in charge of the Foreign Investment Administration Division was responsible for the interpretation of The Ten Measures for Foreign Investment. The Consul-General of Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Guangzhou, Mr. Martin Fleischer, and Chairman of AmCham South China, Mr. Harley Seyedin were the guest speakers to exchange and share their investment experience in Guangdong.
