Introduction: According to specification analysis of varieties of imported stainless steel in China since 2000, the imports of plate and strip account for about 80% of the total imports, and about 55% of the imported plate and strip are cold-rolled sheets, which indicate that the cold-rolled sheet products fail to meet the domestic demand. The Port Industrial Park of Yangjiang High-tech Development has introduced such enterprises as Guangqing Metal Co., Ltd., Guangdong Century Tsingshan Nickel Industry Co., Ltd, Yichuan Nickel Alloy Co., Ltd, etc. It produces 3 million tons of stainless steel raw materials every year. In order to give full play to the advantages of its upstream raw materials resources, it is proposed to introduce stainless steel cold rolling production project to provide high quality stainless steel cold-rolled sheet for the western Guangdong and even China, and thus to meet the market demand.
