Statistics of Guangdong’s Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation (Jan.-Mar. 2017)

     In the first three months of 2017, the incremental Chinese contractual outward investment of $2.261 billion were approved by Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, down 70.38% on a year-on-year basis; actual outward investment reached $1.517 billion, down 76.75% year on year. A completed turnover of foreign contracted projects reached $3.279 billion. The accumulative number of laborers under foreign labor service and foreign contracted project was 8903,  and the number of overseas laborers of all kinds at the end of the statistical period was 83056.
