According to the statistics of customs and immigration departments, in the first five months of 2017, the cargoes imported and exported through ports in Guangdong reached 187.074 million tons, up 13.4% on a year-on-year basis; the inbound and outbound containers were 11.028 million TEU, up 4.2% year on year. The inbound and outbound personnel were 168.472 million person-times, up 3.5% year on year; the entry-exit means of transportation were 8.218 million vehicle-times, up 5.3% on a year-on-year basis.
