According to the statistics of customs and immigration departments, in the first half of 2017, the cargoes imported and exported through ports in Guangdong reached 226.832 million tons, up 13.3% on a year-on-year basis; the inbound and outbound containers were 13.441 million TEU, up 4.5% year on year. The inbound and outbound personnel were 199.87 million person-times, up 2.9% year on year; the entry-exit means of transportation were 9.928 million vehicle-times, up 2% on a year-on-year basis.
