From January to November of 2018, the incremental Chinese contractual outward investment of $2.4 billion was approved by Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, up 292% on a year-on-year basis; the actual outward investment reached $750 million, down 28% year on year. A completed turnover of foreign contracted projects reached $560 million. The accumulative number of laborers under foreign labor service and foreign contracted projects was 4,144, and the number of overseas laborers of all kinds at the end of the statistical period was 86,395.
