Guangdong releases new guidebook for foreign investment

　　On August 21st, the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province officially released the "Invest Guangdong 2020", a new guidebook for foreign investment.

　　The guidebook, in both Chinese and English, was also launched on Newsgd.com and Southcn.com, providing comprehensive information on investment policies, services, opportunities and more to foreign investors.

　　One of the most developed provinces in China, Guangdong strives to create a first-class business environment that is stable, fair, transparent and predictable in order to meet the expectations of a growing number of foreign investors, who are looking for broader markets, greater potential and brighter prospects.

　　Every year, the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province compiles such a guidebook to introduce the province's business environment and preferential policies. This year's version includes five parts, namely "Guangdong Profile", "Investment Opportunities", "Investment Incentives", "Investment Services" and "Service Organizations".

　　The book highlights the innovation hubs in Guangdong, including the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, as well as Foreign Investment Law and the Ten Policies and Measures for Foreign Investment in Guangdong.

　　Readers will also be given full knowledge on the province's 12 measures on further promoting science and technology innovation, the "Digital Government" which aims to make it easier for enterprises and the public to get things done, as well as detailed information about entry clearance, establishment and alteration of foreign-funded enterprises, foreign exchange administration, preferential tax arrangements, and more.

　　Dr. Harley Seyedin, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in South China, had a preview of the book and spoke highly of it. He pointed out that the book is informative, effective and convenient, and gives a complete orientation of Guangdong's highly transparent business environment and preferential policies which will definitely attract more investors.
